The match yesterday between AA Gent and Seraing was postponed quite late in the day because of the storm as part of the roof of the stadium came off. From what it looks like, the worst is over and all matches can be played today. So 4 Games to have a look at as usual on Saturday...

Cercle Brugge vs Beerschot

Beerschot is still in a mission impossible scenario even after their win last week against a very weak Kortrijk. Last week was the first after their old coach was fired and it showed in a style where there were less willing to go forward from the start. They still will need to take risks as only winning matches potentially can help them forward. Cercle Brugge had a great streak which put them fully in the safe zone but they seem to be hit by some decompression in their last 3 games being unable to take a win with 2 losses and a draw not even against good teams. They on top will be without key player Hotic today. When it comes down to Beerschot, my only real options are to oppose them and take over bets. Since Cercle is without Hotic and Beerschot under their new coach obtaining a more defensive starting approach, I'm not really tempted by the -1 line. If Beerschot gets behind or if it's even at Half Time I will likely get a bet on the over. Cercle Brugge has been a good 1st half team (especially away) and I'm expecting them to take the initiative early on. If they get the first couple of corners, I might get in on Beerschot corners who have done quite well overall on those. All action will be in-play so No Pre-Game Bets

Kv Kortrijk vs Zulte-Waregem

Kortrijk currently is in a bad form and they lost against Beerschot last week who didn't even play good. They are in a safe zone with 34 points without real sight to reach playoff 2. Zulte-Waregem overall has just not been the best team with many rather weak performances lacking defensively while they are capable in the offense. Vossen and Gano are back as their 2 most dangerous players and they should not be a team that gets in trouble even though they are only 3 points clear of Seraing. A win would be a major relief while a draw also helps them a bit forward. The pitch in Kortrijk is Bad so that will be an issue in this match. The Form of the day and overall intentions are the 2 main unknown factors for me right now and I will be looking to get a clear answer on those before potentially getting in. The bet I am most tempted by is the Team Total Over on Zulte-Waregem. For now, I'm keeping it conservative with No Pre-Game Bets

Kv Oostende vs Standard

Oostende played a really poor match last weekend against Mechelen losing 3-0 and they haven't played a convincing match in a while. Their play style also has become less offensive since their coach Blessin left and they are in a zone where they are not fully safe yet. Standard remains a team right now that is nowhere near the top team they once used to be and they are just an average mid-table team. All of the new players most of all bring mentality and work ethic to the team instead of sheer quality. Both are in a position where a draw might not be a bad result as every point counts and a loss makes it so that a direct opponent creates a gap. Both also are not really showing the quality and the total numbers for Oostende are still somewhat influenced by a more forward play style of their old coach. This made me go for 0.3 units on Under 2.5 @ 2.004 and 0.15 units on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.010

Charleroi vs Union

So Union either had a first real off-day last week losing deserved 0-1 against Stvv or they are starting to see some regression to the mean. They haven't really gotten lucky this season and their 1st place in the ranking is fully deserved so it makes no sense for 1 loss to mean it's the end. They will be without Nielsen today and so far have had the luxury to always be able to play with their A-Squad. Charleroi is currently 6th in the league which I would say is on the high end for them. They lost last week against Club Brugge with a 2-0 score in a match that was not that high on chances with both goals coming from counters. Both by nature are counter teams and I don't expect there to be one team willing to take risks. The odds on the under line are not high enough for it to be worth the risk. This is another match where I'm just way more comfortable to wait and see how it goes before potentually get any bets in. No Pre-Game Bets
