Passive Crypto Earnings August 2020 (Lending/Dividends/Staking)

avatar

I continue to make these monthly reports on my Lending, staking, Dividends passive earnings as I honestly have no clue where they are at if it wasn't up for these posts.

I will only cover mostly passive earnings in these posts not including earnings that take more effort like blogging, Gaming, Sports Betting & Poker or Affiliates on platforms like Hive |Publish0x | Scorum | Steemit | Uptrennd | Splinterlands | Nitrogensports | ...

Crypto Lending Earnings

The plan was to add Nexo.io to the 3 other platform (BlockFi | Crypto.com | Celsius.network) I am currently using but I only made an account near the end of the month and right now they are not beating any of the yearly Rates, so I'm leaving them on the side. I didn't move or add too much mostly because I'm not willing to pay the ridiculous ETH transaction fees at the moment.

1. BlockFi

So far, I absolutely have loved BlockFi as it's clean and easy to use while giving excellent rates. (6% on BTC | 4.5% on ETH | 5% on LTC) without the need to hold any coin or aything. Very straightforward just like Coinbase the way it should be. I do plan on further increasing both the BTC on ETH I have with them the coming months.

BlockFi is also giving a 10$ worth in BTC to everyone that signs up and deposits at least 100$ in Crypto on their intrest account when they sign up with a Referral link. Feel free to use mine or the one from a friend that already has a Blockfi account.

BlockFi Passive Earnings
0.03774281 ETH (16.24$)
0.00413075 BTC (46.84$)
0.086596646 LTC (4.99$)

2. Crypto.com Earn

Some of my 90-day staking periods came to an end on Crypto.com and I have been moving some of them out of there as some of the returns they are offering went down drastically. Link no longer earns a 4% return but instead a 2% if I would renew the lockup. All this while Celsius.network offers 4.51%. For the first time I managed to use my Crypto.com Visa card for an entire month and I pretty much paid everything I could with it earning a 2% cashback in CRO.

Crypto.com switched to CRO staking to get benefits from the card and it has actually become quite a bit cheaper to get the benefits. They are still offering a nice sign-up deal for everyone that gets on using a referral link (code: e7xe283zea) giving a free 50$ worth in CRO.

Crypto.com Passive Earnings
11.6771 LINK (170.37$)
2.1832 EOS (6.62$)
14.7526 ICX (7.98$)
63.7579 CRO (11.01$)

3. Celsius.network

My holding on Celsius.network will drastically increase next month as I am moving my LINK over there to get 4.51% APY. At least that are the rates they are currently giving and they change week by week. After my initial 'bad experience' as my first EOS deposit took a while to be processed and the customer supports wasn't exactly the best, right now this is turning into a platform I'm really linking as they offer so many different coins to be staked and don't require a lockup so I am free to take advantage of possible pumps when they happen.

Celcius.network is still offering a sign-up bonus up to 20$ in BTC for everyone that signs up with a Referral link depositing 200$ or more keeping it in place for at least 30 days.

Celsius.network Passive Earnings
3.3794 EOS (10.37$)
6.21619 ZRX (3.37$)
0.00835 DASH (0.69$)

Crypto Dividend Earnings

These are dividends paid from projects that have actual revenue and share it with tokenholders.

1. Wink.org (WIN)

Wink.org and their WIN token has turned out into a great investment as I managed to cost average my way in when the price was low and take some profit selling half of my holdings on a price pump. The daily dividends also continue to be a stable stream of passive earnings from crypto. if it ever gets to a point where the price is at a low, I might increase my holding again. For now, I'm fine just holding 5M WIN which I paid a net total of 214.49$ for also counting the profit I took. This month saw a very nice increase on returns also thanks to the fact that TRX pumped despite the fact that I sold 5M win early in June. Passive Rake earnings have also increased (I'm holding 2023 RAKE) even though I haven't played any poker last month.

Wink.org Passive Earnings
WIN 1095.283 TRX (36.73$)
RAKE 38.749 TRX (1.30$)

2. Sportbet.one (SBET)

I kind up went up and down in my Sportbet.one SBET Holdings trying to anticipate price movements and am now steady around 500k SBET. I did miss out on some Dividends as I had 200k not staked at the time dividends were paid out as I forgot about it. Most of it was bought back when the price was aroun 0.0028$ (See Reasons Why I'm buying SBET). Right now the price is at around 0.005$ with a marketcap of still only 2 Million. They still have a long way to go but there certainly still is upside potential and the weekly dividends are really nice. I continute to track both the WIN and SBET in my weekly reports and aim to increase my holdings by speculating on price fluctuations.

Sportbet.one Passive Earnings
18.3905 EOS (56.27$)
1005.98 SBET (5.03$)
0.25541 mBTC (2.89$)

3. TENX Rewards

Even though it's impossible to claim these rewards, they continue to add up and at some point it will be possible to claim them. The Tenx Rewards did see a nice increase compared to last months. I'm holding 4000 TENX tokens which last month gave 5.36 PAY rewards. This comes at 120.98$ for the TenX tokens giving 0.452$ monthly returns. For more about the TenX rewards check their Blog Token Rewards Q3 2020)

TenX Passive Earnings
5.36 PAY (0.45$)

Crypto Staking Earnings

From what I understand, staking is all about locking up coins getting rewards for it that most of the time comes from inflation.

1. NEO GAS

Neo has seen a nice pump last month and GAS Rewards continue to be paid each month. I'm only holding 100 NEO tokens which gave around 0.95867200 GAS last ~31 days.

NEO GAS Passive Earnings
0.95869 GAS (1.82$)

2. Tron (TRX) SR Voting

I reduced my TRX holding a bit as I no longer have that much time to play poker on Wink.org. I used what I unstaked to buy some more WIN instead. The voting seemed to have reset and I missed out on 1 week of staking rewards

TRON Passive Earnings
53.90 TRX (1.81$)

3. Algorand (ALGO) Staking Rewards

I continue to hold around 1000 Algorand sitting in my Binance account which automatically collects passive returns each month.Earning Staking Rewards on Binance is as simple as having Coins in your wallet there. They are providing passive returns for a lot of different coins (TOMO | ARK | EOS | ARPA | LIST | THETA | LOOM | KAVA | TEZOS | ATOM | TRON | ALOG | ONE | FET | STRAT | QTUM | KMD | VET | ONT | NEO | TROY | ERD | XLM). Signing up with my Referral Link will also give you a 0.10% cashback on all your trading fees.

Algorand (ALGO) Passive Earnings

5.00312069 ALGO (2.29$)

Airdrops / Rewards

So many ways to earn some passive or semi-passive crypto earnings. These were some of the coins I earned in June this way.

1. Swissborg Community App

I continued to take 10 seconds daily to play the Swissbirg Community App game (See Post). By now I managed to get 14 out of 15 badges (only the affiliate batch is missing which would give 250 extra CHSB). I am quite happy with the 700 CHSB I earned so far and the 150 I managed to add last month. I'm also inside the top 10.000 rank which currently would give an extra 6.15$ when the competition ends. They did highly reduce what can be earned with the app so most will be too late to get the juicy earnings if they still plan to get into it. (More competitions are said to be organized on the community app in the future)

Swissborg Community App Game
150 CHSB (15.75$)

Overall I haven't been looking too much at extra sources for passive income last month but I plan to do so in September. Please let me know in the comments what your personal favorite ways are to earn passive earnings and feel free to include your Affiliate link!

A good outcome congrats.

If I was to use just one of your referral links, which one would you suggest?

I would say BlockFi or Celsius, they both have been good to me when it comes down to lending and they offer a bonus for using an affiliate link. Right now it's probably pointless to use them for ERC-20 tokens with the high gas transaction fees but they offer plenty of options if you look to earn some passive income on crypto earnings.

I hope that helps.

Nice to read, I hope you manage to find your way here on hive as things can be quite confusing and hard to get something going. Good Luck!

At this moment I'm mostly trying to find what has changed compared to Steem one year ago... ;-)

Awesome report! I like how you did things separately... And numbers are going up, that's the most important!

Congrats!

The fact that most coin prices are going up really helps in that regard. I consider this one of the major factors that make the crypto market so crazy as you can get good returns on assets with upside price potential

In that regard, I honestly don't mind and I see it as less of a risk to spread my crypto around instead of keeping everything on my ledger.
