Week 07 Results | 40W-27L-9P | +2.310 Units Profit
I'm bringing out the rocket on any week where there is more than 2 units of profit and this was one of those! While I didn't expect to have that many bets looking at the odds early on, I still ended up taking a lot of them including plenty of cover bets on positions that were well inside the green. Despite the good profit, it actually could have been more but I won't complain about that. Overall things are quite great and I'm in a good zone reaching new highs and having some room for bad luck to hit at some point. I'm pretty much going at it 1 match at a time still remaining rather cautious and not getting overly confident that I know better than the market as edges in general remain quite low.
The start of the season also tends to be the easiest and it's not uncommon to see a great start followed by things really getting a lot harder and results cooling down. I still keep going with the idea that the market can be beaten and an edge can be found all year long.
Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2022-2023
The highlighted pre-game bets that I share in my previews also continue to have a chart that just goes straight up this season. This however comes after a streak were over 300+ bets they were break even in the previous season. I'm now 50 bets in good for +12.394 units and +24.79% totally expecting these to eventually come down to a more realistic number.

Regular Season 2022-2023 Personal Betting Chart
I expected the initial peak to be a top for some time to come and it dropped back close to the expected pink profit line some weeks ago only to now go even higher. I do kind of expect the same thing now and deem it more likely for to overall result once 500+ bets are in to be lower than where it is now as this statistically makes sense. This doesn't mean it's better to stop betting as the expectation is still that profit will be made. I am also quite pleased to see that I managed to have my highest volume week. I was set to reach over 10 units staked but didn't force it to reach there in the last match of the week which turned out to have no bets. I'm still rather cautious also to get in with bigger stakes on single positions as I have too often been shown that my personal idea what it's far different than the market isn't always the correct one. There is also still a lot of luck involved in any given match and I like the idea of keeping variance somewhat in check even if this means giving up some edge by not betting the absolute maximum that I could handle while also taking some cover bets that I otherwise would not take.
