This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

The struggle pretty much continues this season but I'm also seeing a lot of good things actually. Despite the current losses which still are relatively low, I continue to really enjoy following the league and trying to beat this betting market. I'm nearly not as annoyed by being down 10 weeks into the league as I imagined I would be also. I also have plenty of units left on my account to continue without getting in any danger having to use funds from other assets that I own online.

Things right now simply are difficult and I need time to adjust to this in one way or another. I do feel that the market and what likely are AI systems have got an edge on me at the moment with some lines that are way sharper compared to what they used to be. In a match like Antwerp vs Eupen where it was quite obvious in-game that Antwerp was way better, in minute 87' the line was still -0.25 @ 2.4 or something like that without crazy amount of extra time and off course a goal in minute 90'. This pretty much ties down the options of taking bets on uncomfortable sides.

The good thing is that I'm keeping my stakes to the minimum and also that luck really was against me this week only making a limited loss overall which easily could have been profit. I will continue and try to improve along the way getting back my edge which I'm sure is still possible one way or another.

Regular Season 2023-2024 Personal Betting Chart

Going forward, I'm going to adjust my pink line expected profit to the downside a bit as the edge clearly has come down. The current prediode now these past week mostly feel break even with luck not really on my side which at least is a bit hopeful.
