This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

I managed to squeeze out a tiny bit of profit in a week where some really good wins were always followed by some big losses. The biggest one was the Anderlecht match where I dropped -0.8 units in total. This was one of those matches where it showed how difficult it is to predict what will happen as everything looked set up for a fairly easy win yet Anderlecht had an off day unable to confirm their form of last week still winning the match but failing to cover the -1.5 handicap which in the end was set correctly.

As much that I want to go to a time where I'm placing big bets with confidence on plays that turn out to have great value, the reality of the market right now is that I'm mainly squeezing out some profit which is almost fully based on really small edges on odds where not that much is available due to limits and odds dropping when betting. The corners market once again this year after losing on them last season is back the market where I'm doing best but it's so hard to consistently get good positions in on those. So for now, the grind just continues with 2 more weeks to go in the regular season.

This was not the best week when it came down to the pre-game highlighted bets with 4 positions in 2 matches of which 3 ended up losing. This brings the profit of the selected bets closer to my overall season profit.

Regular Season 2023-2024 Personal Betting Chart

I managed to stay in the profit this week even getting over a unit at some point. While it is nothing to write home about, I'm still pretty pleased to be in the green after how this season started. The last 2 weeks will be do-or-die to make it into a profitable regular season but there are also still the playoffs even though historically I performed worse on those.
