This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

The main goal of this final week in the regular season was pretty much making sure that I ended it with an overall profit. This is exactly what I got almost to the penny breaking even despite wagering 3+ units. This ends my season at just +1 unit of profit which equals +0.89% ROI which is the worst in a long time but at the same time after being down around 8 units 40% into the season, I would have always signed to end still in the greek especially knowing that I downsized my stakes to reduce the risk of going lower.

Playoffs Plans
Each year, the playoffs feel like the matches too many and I rather have time off especially since the weather is getting better. Results also tend to be mixed and I haven't kept any statistics on them over the years so it's much more a freestyle. Last season I lost -0.93 units on them, the season before -0.76 units. However, in 2021-2022 I managed to make +5.23 units profit. The plan is to keep up my schedule of making previews of all matches while trying to watch most of them and take some bets without pushing it. I will see where it all goes. At the same time, I kind of feel like skipping them completely. This is each year the case but I always end up covering them anyway.

I had no more pre-game bet in the final week which ended with a lot of surprises and a scenario in the end nobody could have written. In that extent, we are spoiled here in Belgium with these playoffs.

Regular Season 2023-2024 Personal Betting Chart

So there you have it, the full chart of the Regular Season which purely on sentiment feels nice as I managed to turn it around even with reduced stakes, at the same time if the result would be the same with a spike at the start and a downtrend afterward I would feel bad about it. So the reality is that this wasn't my best season and it was mostly my experience, discipline, and the fact that I always get the best odds which pulled me through. The 2nd part of the season which was pretty much only up does give me good hope that I'm still beating the market and most importantly, I still highly enjoy it all even though near the end of the season when the playoffs are here I am kind of burned out.
