This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

Pretty good week as with a solid +1.438 units of profit and many bets even though nearly all of them were smaller ones. One of the interesting things I have noticed this season is that it's quite hard to find really good pre-game value while at the same time I'm up +14.15% ROI on 335 pre-game bets, on the other hand I tend to like corner bets more which traditionally do well but those are actually at -3.41% ROI after 381 bets. I guess I'm quite lucky in this regard as the limits on corner bets are usually so low to the extent that multiple bets still don't get me to the point where I would actually want them.

This said, I do mostly see it as shorter-term variance as in the previous seasons this was pretty much the other way around. In the end, what counts is the overall profit over a longer period of time adjusting where it's obviously needed.

Quite some pre-game bets that I liked this week which went 5W-3L-0P good for just over 1 unit profit. I'm not wat +6.44% ROI on these after 171 bets this season and I do expect more bets to come with some weeks left in the league.

Regular Season 2022-2023 Personal Betting Chart

I actually reached new highs on the season briefly on the chart getting above 10 units profit which always kind of is my aim on a season in total. I moved up in stakes relative to the units at the start of the season so it's more 12.5 units compared to last season and +20 units compared to the stakes the year before. This said, I'm still struggling to get my overall volume up despite having quite a lot of bets last week. I did highly increase my volume from just 3.257 units the week before to 7.882 units this week. It's still below the 8-10 range that I ideally would like to have but I'm working toward that without overly taking risks. Next season I will keep the stakes that represent my units at the same level but more than ever try to stake more so I get at 10+ units hopefully each week.
