Hoje, mesmo você sendo alguém que entende sobre futebol mundial e acompanha vários jogos, ainda se pergunta porque aquele jogador foi convocado.
Os últimos 3 técnicos foram um verdadeiro fiasco e nunca irei esquecer de Dorival Júnior coçando a cabeça e levantando o dedo, pedindo a vez para falar e isso tudo fora da roda dos jogadores em plena semifinal da Copa América do ano passado. Isso para mim foi a pior humilhação de um treinador de Seleção Brasileira. Quem ocupa aquele cargo é um comandante respeitado pelos seus jogadores e ali vimos que ele não tinha comando nenhum.
Vergonha: Ancelotti Não Vem Mais Pela Segunda Vez
Como eu disse antes, a Seleção Brasileira era muito respeitada no passado. Imagine o que seria para um técnico poder ser o comandante de uma das melhores e mais vencedoras seleções no mundo? Somos pentacampeões mundial. Mas depois com o que aconteceu com a trágica e vergonhosa negociação com Carlo Ancelotti, isso só comprova o quanto o Brasil não é mais preterido no cenário mundial.
Isso é culpa da própria CBF. O que foi feito e o que faltou fazer, a culpa é toda do presidente Ednaldo Rodrigues que na época, desde 2023 se falava que Ancelotti estaria interessado em assumir o time do Brasil. Mas na realidade levamos o primeiro não. Depois de alguns anos, cá estamos na mesma situação, correndo atrás dele. É verdade que ele é um dos melhores técnicos da atualidade e não é à toa de que é o treinador do Real Madrid, mas a negociação novamente foi um fracasso.
É evidente de que quem esteve à frente das negociações não foi alguém do meio do futebol e provavelmente foi alguém político. Nessa situação tem que ser alguém que realmente saiba contornar a situação e de a acordo com algumas pessoas do meio esportivo, Ancelotti estava balançado em aceitar a proposta do Brasil, mas que na última hora, acabou desistindo fazendo com que a CBF divulgasse o "fim das negociações".
Ninguém quer assumir o Brasil com a bagunça que está a CBF. Não duvido de nada se no contrato tinha algumas exigências para que o treinador pudesse obrigatoriamente aceitar e por conta disso, mais uma vez tivemos um "não" vindo da mesma pessoa pela segunda vez. Isso nunca tinha acontecido por pelo menos 30 anos que eu acompanho futebol. Clubes de futebol já cansei de ver técnicos renomados não aceitarem as propostas de emprego, mas uma seleção? É a primeira vez, ops... Segunda no caso.
A verdade é que atualmente não temos nenhum treinador brasileiro que possa comandar a Seleção. Após a passagem de Dorival Júnior, ficou mais que comprovado isso. Precisamos urgentemente fazer uma revolução dentro da CBF, mas sabemos que enquanto o Ednaldo Rodrigues estiver no poder, isso dificilmente irá mudar. Somente um treinador estrangeiro possa ser o "salvador", mas de nada disso irá adiantar se ele não tiver liberdade para fazer suas decisões.

The whole Ancelotti saga makes it clear once again how important it is to choose the right moment when you want a coach of that caliber and Real Madrid wasn't going to let him go so easily with the Club World Cup so close so it was always going to be a mess for Brazil to organize everything for the qualifying phase and all that, the way the federation sat around waiting instead of looking for another coach sooner left the team in a very bad position and now they have to rush to find someone before the important games, other names like Jorge Jesus or Abel Ferreira could work but they really need to sort it out as quickly as possible so the players can move on and focus.
