We were on family trip to Lake Bled today and bumped into him while walking around. We had to take advantage of that for a quick photo.
Gream memory and hopefully we will meet again in person on some NBA game.

Btw talking about basketball, have you heard about the incredible run of the Czech national team at the Olympics qualification tournament in Canada? After beating the home team (consisting of NBA players only) and Greece, we actually made it to the Olympics! We will play USA (!!!), France and Iran in the group :) Cannot wait!

Well for me he already is best player on Earth, bit I might be a bit patriotic. Hopefully he can prove one day that he really is the best and one of the greatest all time. We are just bleassed to share same nationality!
They are actually having training camp in Bled. As you probably know we will also play on Olympics.
We might meet. Hopefully in semifinals, so even for loosing team there won't be tooo big disappointment.
I hear about you team did a great job. Canada and Greece are strong, but usually heart plays big role in these type of games. Congrats and good luck in your battle for second place. USA is too strong, even if they lost today agains Nigeria!
You can caught France on a bad day... If not there is still possibility with third place.

I am ashamed to confess, but we were too thrilled when we saw Doncic, so we completely forget to include Anja on the photo as well...
I think it´s natural to be patriotic, especially in sports haha :D We also think that Pavel Nedved was the best football player in his era and Jaromir Jagr the best ice hockey player in his. But even if they were not, it´s still amazing that such tiny countries like yours and mine can produce so many top class athletes in a variety of sports. I just checked and there are actually only 12 countries at the basketball tournament of the Olympics and both yours and mine is there, isn´t that already a huge success? :)
