Bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog. Yo soy Lelys, les saludo desde mi linda Venezuela, tierra que me vio nacer.

Estoy contando los días, ya nos queda muy poco tiempo para mostrar el resultado final de nuestros proyectos WIP. Eso significa que debo aligerar la marcha ya que a mis amigurumis aún le faltan unos cuantos detalles para finalizarlos. Aprovecho para invitarlos a todos a participar. UN NUEVO PROGRESO: PIES Y ALGO MAS.

Es la primera vez que hago pausas tan largas durante la ejecución de un proyecto. Generalmente antes de comenzar me aseguro de tener los materiales que necesitaré para no tener que parar en ningún momento, esa sería la única razón por la que dejaría en veremos alguna creación.

Participar en este reto me está enseñando a que podemos elaborar con calma, pausa y sin prisa los amigurumis sin que el resultado final se vea afectado. Sin embargo, para ser franca, yo soy mujer de emociones. Soy del tipo de personas a las que les provoca hacer algo en momentos determinados y si no lo hace luego se vuelven compromisos ineludibles carentes de toda emoción. Espero poder darme a entender.

Con el tejido me ha pasado diferente, les conté que guardo el proyecto en cajas con la finalidad de no verlos hasta el día en que voy a trabajarlos. Por el contrario, cuando deseo terminar muy pronto algún proyecto lo dejo sobre mi mesa de trabajo con el propósito de verlo y mantener la emoción. Me ha funcionado muy bien esta estrategia. Hasta no terminar lo que hay sobre la mesa no empiezo otro.

El progreso de hoy en mis amigurumis consiste en hacerles sus pies. Este paso me ocupó más tiempo del estimado ya que para un amigurumi me quedó del tamaño perfecto y para los otros no, por lo que tuve que hacer una modificación en el patrón. Bien valió el tiempo y la dedicación.

Para avanzar un poco también les completé parte de su vestimenta. Espero que ahora sí les de una idea de quiénes son 😉 Vestir a los amigurumis es muy emocionante, cada uno de ellos tiene una característica distinta. A uno le hice chaleco morado y de una vez copié el modelo para hacerlo negro para el otro. Como pueden ver el amigurumi de ropa multicolor lleva en su pantalón un atuendo tipo braga de color azul. ¡Están pesados mis amiguitos! ¡Me encantan! Sufro mucho cuando me toca meterlos a esa cajita a que esperen el próximo turno con la modista.

¡Ya les falta poco amiguitos! Pronto tendrán sus brazos y espero recibir de ustedes muchos abrazos cariñosos.

Deseo verlos terminados pronto. ¿Qué haré con ellos después? ¡Consentirlos!

A NEW PROGRESSION: FEET AND SOMETHING ELSE.

This is the first time I take such long pauses during the execution of a project. Usually before I start I make sure I have the materials I will need so I don't have to stop at any time, that would be the only reason I would leave any creation to be seen.

Participating in this challenge is teaching me that we can make amigurumis calmly, slowly and unhurriedly without affecting the final result. However, to be frank, I am a woman of emotions. I am the type of person who is provoked to do something at certain times and if she does not do it then become unavoidable commitments devoid of any emotion. I hope I can make myself understood.

I told you that I keep the project in boxes with the purpose of not seeing them until the day I am going to work on them. On the contrary, when I want to finish a project very soon I leave it on my work table in order to see it and keep the excitement. This strategy has worked very well for me. Until I finish what is on the table, I don't start another one.

Today's progress on my amigurumis consists of making their feet. This step took me more time than estimated because for one amigurumi it was the perfect size and for the others it was not, so I had to make a modification in the pattern. It was well worth the time and dedication.

To advance a little I also completed part of their clothing. I hope that now it gives you an idea of who they are 😉 Dressing the amigurumis is very exciting, each one of them has a different characteristic. I made a purple vest for one and then copied the pattern to make it black for the other one. As you can see, the amigurumi with the multicolored clothes has a blue panties-type outfit on his pants. My little friends are heavy! I love them! I suffer a lot when I have to put them in that little box to wait for the next turn with the dressmaker.

They are almost ready, my little friends! Soon they will have their arms and I hope to receive many warm hugs from you.

I wish to see them finished soon, what will I do with them next? spoil them!
