Got quite the green thumb.
All my friends who grow potted trees are also thinking ahead about the cold snap coming up.
Does this tree have a triple trunk? If you want to make a few key cuts, I bet you could open up more sunlight to strengthen the dominant leader, encourage denser foliage, and maybe even tame the height and width to fit your space.

Hi @creativetruth! It is split into 2 trunks. I wish I could divide it into 2 trees! Maybe I'll look into that!
