A huge hello to my
#SWC community! 👋 I want to share with you the full adventure of my trip to the competition we organized at the Sambil Barquisimeto Shopping Center. It all started with the gathering at the Panviber Continental Hotel in Maracay, where all the athletes met. From there, we took the bus that took us on an unforgettable journey, passing through vibrant Puerto Cabello in Carabobo and Yaritagua in Yaracuy, until we finally arrived in the great land of Lara. The anticipation and camaraderie along the way made the trip as special as the competition itself.
Una vez en el escenario, llegó el momento de la verdad. Di lo mejor de mà y logré pasar exitosamente los Octavos y Cuartos de Final. Lamentablemente, en la Semifinal, una confusión en mis combinaciones me costó la victoria. Sin embargo, el aprendizaje fue enorme y ya sé exactamente qué debo pulir. El broche de oro a este viaje fue conocer y compartir con el gran VÃctor Allendes, un atleta venezolano, ahora con nacionalidad chilena, que ha ganado mundiales como la SWUB en España. ¡Una verdadera leyenda! Esta experiencia me motiva más que nunca.
Once on stage, the moment of truth arrived. I gave it my all and successfully made it through the Round of 16 and Quarterfinals. Unfortunately, in the Semifinals, a mix-up in my combinations cost me the victory. However, I learned a lot and now I know exactly what I need to work on. The icing on the cake of this trip was meeting and spending time with the great VÃctor Allendes, a Venezuelan athlete, now a Chilean national, who has won world championships such as the SWUB in Spain. A true legend! This experience motivates me more than ever.
