My Actifit Report Card: May 1 2025
When I was a kid we enjoyed making kites every once in a while and then flying them. My father showed me a way to make a kite. He called it a doodle bug. And he used 2 sticks and a piece of paper. The sticks were arranged in an x. And the piece of paper was the actual kite and just connected to the middle of the x and wonder of wonders a thing actually flew. But he used two pieces of what he called dog fennel and this image is dog fennel, however, I have never noticed or seen it actually bloom like this with those pretty yellow blooms.

Interesting......I remember flying kites, but it was either mostly not windy enough or too windy.
It's a pretty flower; kind of reminds me of the cone flower in a way.
