United hammered at home again and looking by the teams performances so far this season things wont improve. The team needs new blood and which player in their right mind will sign up to this club? The club has left any incoming transfers too late this year as now players who may have thought about it have seen the results.The club is desperate and possibly a new manager is a better call than players right now.

6-1 is a hiding and is an embarrassment to the team.

We have all seen on social media the United circus dropping names of who they are trying to lure to the club. The reality is the pulling power is no longer there and they are not seen as a top team. The club is big with the fanbase they have ,but that doesn't win games.

United cannot attract the same players that the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester City are shopping for. Last season United punched well above their weight finishing third which flattered the team. This gave everyone a false sense of security and the truth is now unravelling.

I said last season already that McGuire was not a decent purchase and wouldn't even have him in the squad. Too slow and just not a player who has enough quality. His weaknesses are being exposed and I feel sorry for the goal keeper De Gea who cannot relax one minute. Bruno Fernandes has been the only decent purchase out of the last 4 players they bought in.

Like an alcoholic the club needs to hit rock bottom before things will be fixed and the team isn't there yet. The club needs to finish mid table before something happens or even better a relegation fight. I can't see that happening and at some point this season lady luck will shine on them. They won a match last week after being outplayed by Brighton so they were gifted 3 points already.

Looking at the fixture list I cannot see any easy games up until the 21st November against West Bromwich Albion. They play Newcastle next which won't be easy for this squad followed by Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton where I cannot see them winning any of those. I don't expect the manager will make Christmas this year and possibly will be out before United's game against West Bromwich Albion. Solskjaer must be the bookies favorite to be the first manager out this season.

United have somehow managed to raise their game in the past against the bigger clubs, but they cannot rely on that anymore with the squad they have. I think the majority of teams looking at United as a fixture would be disappointed not to walk away with points. The top teams will see this fixture as a banker for points.
