No Excuses As Relegation Threatened Teams Will Try And Not play

source

I don't think it really matters what the clubs might think as if you are in charge they must listen to what has bee laid out before them. The idea of discussing what is safe and realistic seems to change drastically with the teams the further you go down the table. You would think the teams are being cautious and considerate about their players, but in reality it is the survival that matters more. You have to be gullible and very stupid if you think it is anything else.

The idea of neutral venues was a no go the other day as it was deemed unfair even though there are no spectators. The FA then threw in the possibility of no relegation and all the teams stuck up their hands saying it was suddenly a good idea. The teams have been spoilt and I wouldn't give them the vote on this. There is no benefit gained by any team having the neutral stadiums and has only been done for everyone's safety.

The thought process is that all the teams play at three or four stadiums for the remainder of the season. The television cameras are set up once and will remain in place until the season has been completed. Having neutral venues means that the grounds can be sanitized by one professional team including the playing surface. Spitting and nose blowing will be banned as it is not really hygienic how footballers do it.

Tell them the starting date and the fixture list as to who is playing where at what time and be done with it. The clubs have been molly coddled and the players have too much to say. Everyone can see through the angle of the reasons why certain clubs don't want to play as they fear being relegated.

I just think of the teams who should be coming up as that would be selfish and unfair to block them because the three above them voted for no relegation. I am surprised there are no back handers flying around as those three spots are worth in excess of 300 Million Pounds. If it was Africa the season would have been called off already with officials pocketing extra cash.

The players and teams have to see this as just a job right now and finishing the season is the priority. I estimate that they can get it done within 5 weeks with two games per week. One crucial thing should be that if the League is stopped again then the positions that the teams in are final. Promotion and relegation will take place depending on where teams finish. If you are in the bottom 3 it is not in your interest to have the league stopped early. I can just see games being played it this isn't stipulated right from the beginning.

Self-preservation is at the top of the list for the bottom three in the premier league. There is too much at stake for the league to be suspended. How they do it, I don't know.

All I know is that Manchester United were on the up and up with a relatively easy few games remaining and we have the chance to secure a top four finish. That is what I am looking forward to. But obviously, the health and safety of interested parties comes first.
