Just out of curiosity if the players get suspended do the clubs still pay their wages if it is their own fault?

No. They lose like 1/110th of their salary per game. At least that's how it used to be. Collective bargaining can change that number. When suspended the team gets to keep the missed wages but half are still counted towards the salary cap. The 110 is 8 preseason, 82 regular season, and 20 postseason games. Like I said, that number is negotiated in collective bargaining so I'm not sure if it's still the same. Either way, it's a good chunk of change, although these guys are so overpaid I'm sure most of them don't miss it. Maybe the bench player for Orlando might notice though...
