What they call it is muscle memory through a repetitive action and it definitely does work as it just happens naturally. Happy to see you not overthinking this and just doing things naturally which will improve your game.

There have been so many times where I would overthink a throw, line everything up perfectly, then miss by a mile. Then on the other end there are times where I just wanderered up there and had a crack at it and absolutely nailed it. We can be our own worst enemies in things like this. I would imagine there are a ton of golfers out there that feel the same way.
