Not only are eye pokes or gouging dangerous this is cheating of the worst kind. If by accident fair enough but these guys know what they are doing is intentional. This has been a problem with rugby in the past, but thankfully no longer. If you are found to have done this you would receive a 3 month ban then a 6 month ban. Surely the UFC should revoke any pay so it stops this cheating immediately.

they need to do more than the nothing they are doing now. Thankfully this event has sparked conversation about it and even talks about changing the gloves so that the fingers are not exposed on the tips.
But as you and I have discussed many times before this is a business, not a sport, and when matches has to be re-done at a later date the owners just get paid again and again.
