It is understandable that one would lose interest as it is overkill. More is less and this would definitely turn me off big time. I stopped watching sports I love for this very reason and only pick the matches that count these days.

Ill let my friend who is a superfan of the Dodgers tell me when I should pay attention. He is one of those dudes that just sits at home and does sports stats all day every day. I'm a bit more social.
