I agree they may not have an exact vision of how they will play but this team does look far stronger than previous years. I do think they will be mid table and will do better than expected.

Certainly a lot better balanced than in recent years. The middle order seems to have been a long standing problem for them going back multiple super auctions. Generally they are a franchise that I want to do well because they do invest in young players as was the case when they made Umran Malik and Abdul Samad 2 of their 3 retained players in 2021 ahead of far more established names. I think like all young players, they now just need a bit of consistency in selection and management to really flourish.
