I blame the managers for the players who failed to progress. Look how Alex Fergusson used to treat his star players as he wouldn't let them become to full of themselves. There was a reason why they sold Pogba when he was still a teenager and a bigger mistake to bring him back. When money and fame isn't managed how do you think someone so young will react. Look at Mario Balotelli as he ended up being such a waste as no one wanted him. The money went to his head believing he was too good for everyone.

Exactly. I agree with the money and fame thing. It's hard for a young player to manage them especially at this age we are.

A 19-20 years old player suddenly collecting 100k+, 200k+ wages will misbehave.

He will train less, party more do all sort of vices. It's left for the manager to train him in the right path.

It's sad to see these exciting youngsters career go down the drain
