My Handball Career 2024/2025 #17: Resume
This week was a slightly different week.
Firstly, because we started the week with a 10-hour blackout in the country.
Secondly, our coach's son underwent surgery on Friday night which meant he was unable to lead training that day.
However, we carried out the 3 weekly training sessions as normal and prepared for this Saturday's game against CDC Satntana.
This is the 2nd game in which we have finally managed to show our worth from the opening minutes, where we built a lead that we did not let slip away.
At half time we were already winning 12 - 17.
In the second half we didn't take our foot off the accelerator and we managed to get our second victory with a difference of more than 10 goals.
These last two impressive victories mean nothing if we can't win the next 3 games.
Leaderboard
In terms of classification, we remain in 3rd place (only the first two move up a division).
However, this weekend we were tied on points with the second placed team as Benfica B lost their game.
This means that we still mathematically have the possibility of moving up a division.
We have 3 more finals against AC Fafe (4th), CD Feirense (1st) and Benfica B (3th) to achieve our goal.
