If you enjoy foam crafts and charming little details, today I’ll teach you how to make an adorable heart-shaped box decorated with flowers, bows, and sweet designs—plus space for chocolates inside! It’s a perfect gift for your partner or a friend, or even to sell as a handmade craft.

Next, I'll show you step by step how I made my project. I'll start by displaying the materials.

Para este proyecto, usé solo lo esencial, tijeras lápiz y lo que tenía a mano, una moneda para círculos pequeños y una tapa para los grandes. Sin plantillas, troqueles ni silicona líquida... ¡puro ingenio!

Prueba de que lo bonito no necesita materiales caros💪✨.

For this project, I used only the basics, scissors, a pencil, and what I had on hand, a coin for small circles and a lid for larger ones. No templates, die-cut machines, or liquid silicone... just pure creativity!

Comenzamos recortando la base en forma de corazón en foami. Luego cortamos tiras del mismo color y las pegamos alrededor del borde de la base para formar las paredes de la caja.

Let’s start by cutting out the heart-shaped base from foam. Then, cut strips of the same color and glue them around the edges to form the walls of the box.

Para la tapa haremos los mismos pasos q para la parte inferior solo q esta tendra q ser un poco mas grande para q puedan encajar.

For the lid, we'll follow the same steps as the bottom part, but make it slightly larger so it can fit snugly on top.

Para crear el lazo decorativo marcamos dos círculos juntos en el foami con dos líneas que los unan en el centro, más dos líneas adicionales hacia los extremos. Recortamos la figura, doblamos los círculos por la mitad hacia el centro y los pegamos. Para la parte trasera, marcamos medio círculo con un listón pequeño en el centro, lo recortamos y pegamos al reverso del lazo principal. Así obtendrás un lazo con volumen listo para decorar tu caja corazón.

To create the decorative bow, we draw two joined circles on the foam with two lines connecting them at the center, plus two additional lines extending outward. We cut out the shape, fold the circles in half toward the center, and glue them. For the back piece, we draw a half-circle with a small strip at the center, cut it out, and glue it to the back of the main bow. This will give you a dimensional bow ready to decorate your heart box.

Para hacer las rosas cortamos pequeños círculos de foami. Los pegamos uno junto a otro formando una fila. Luego cortamos toda la fila por la mitad. Tomamos cada tira de semicírculos y la enrollamos sobre sí misma desde el extremo, poniendo pegamento a medida que enrollamos para que mantenga la forma de rosa

To make the roses, we cut small circles from foam. We glue them side by side forming a row. Then we cut the entire row in half. We take each strip of semicircles and roll it onto itself from the end, adding glue as we roll to maintain the rose shape

Sobre foami blanco marcamos y recortamos la silueta del personaje, dibujando sus detalles con marcador. Tomamos un trozo pequeño de foami rojo brillante, recortamos un corazón diminuto y lo pegamos encima de la figura blanca, centrado o según el diseño deseado

On white foam, we trace and cut out the character's silhouette, drawing its details with a marker. We take a small piece of bright red foam, cut out a tiny heart, and glue it onto the white figure, centered or placed according to the desired design."

Para terminar el detalle aplicamos pegamento en la base de las flores y las colocamos alrededor del borde interior de la caja. En el centro, pegamos la figura decorada con el corazón brillante.

Consejo extra: Para hacerlo más especial, puedes añadir bombones o golosinas dentro antes de cerrar la caja.

To finish the detail, we apply glue to the base of the flowers and place them around the inner edge of the box. In the center, we glue the decorated figure with the shiny heart.

Extra tip: To make it more special, you can add chocolates or candies inside before closing the box."

The entire heart-shaped box design—including the flowers, bow, and center figurine, as well as the step-by-step process and work photos—was entirely created by me for this special foam project."
