The Ukrainian authorities, represented by the Ministry of Education, have spread information that from September 1, 2022, only schools with shelters or bomb shelters can be opened so that children can hide from the Russian army's airstrikes and missiles or artillery.
The problem with school shelters is that no one has cared for or repaired them for years.
In most schools, shelters are not designed for long-term stays. Another problem of Ukrainian schools is that they are overcrowded with children, and accordingly the shelters are not designed for the number of children that can be in the school. The issue of schools is clear, but the issue of transporting children by school buses is open. If a bus comes under fire, it will not protect children, and there may be no shelter nearby, and it is very dangerous to be on the bus, because it is not armored and high above the ground.
Martial law was extended for 3 months until August 23, but this information gives reason to understand that the war is longer.

Українська влада в особі міністерства освіти поширила інформацію, що з 1 вересня 2022 року можуть відкритися тільки ті школи, у яких є укриття або бомбосховища, щоб діти могли сховатися по тривозі від авіаційних та ракетних або артилерійських обстрілів від російської армії.
Проблема шкільних укриттів у тому, що роками ніхто за ними не доглядав та не робив ремонти.
У більшості шкіл сховища не розраховані на довготривале перебування. Також проблема українських шкіл у тому, що вони переповнені дітьми, а відповідно сховища не розраховані на ту кількість дітей, яка може бути у школі. Питання шкіл зрозуміла, а от питання транспортування дітей автобусами шкільними відкрите. Якщо під обстріл потрапить автобус, то він не захистить дітей, а поруч може не бути укриття, а перебуваючи в автобусі дуже небезпечно, адже він не броньований та на висоті над землею.
Воєнний стан подовжили на 3 місяці до 23 серпня, але ця інформація дає підстави зрозуміти, що війна на довше.
