Titans Versus Texans Preview

The Titans play the Texans today at their home Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Titans want to stay undefeated and go 5-0. This is a huge divisional matchup as well. The Texans want to continue to improve from their 0-4 start and go to 2-4. Of course on top of that every game played in the division is tough since teams want to win their division and they often draft players to matchup well against divisional opponents.

Houston is a big rival.

Both teams have faced their fair share of adversity.

The Titans season was in jeopardy early on because of the STUPID pandemic. Their season was altered because over 20 players caught COVID-19. They had to postpone a matchup with the Steelers and move their bye week up several weeks to week four. Many players fans and others greatly criticized and basically straight up hated on the Titans for being neglectful and catching the virus. I think it was super unfair and ridiculous they faced so much hate.

The Texans on the other hand started off extremely poorly. A big and weird disappointment of a squad that made the playoffs and won a game in the playoffs last year. The reason they started so poorly was because of poor decisions by their recently fired HC and GM Bill O'Brien. They let go of their Star WR DeAndre Hopkins for an aging, mostly declining running back in David Johnson.

Overall though this matchup will be interesting. It's almost always a competitive matchup.

Both teams have a lot to play for and a lot of motivation.

The Texans won last week, but it was a much closer game than score indicates. I know people always say that, but it's really true if you watch the Jags and Texans highlights from last week.

This is a big game. GO TITANS SMASH HOUSTON, #TTITANUP
