Washington didn't hold on to Chris Paul for long πŸŽ¬πŸ€

Chris Paul is on the move for the second time in less than a week. This time the Wizards are shipping him back out west to the Warriors in exchange for Jordan Poole. This trade is both confusing and makes perfect sense at the same time.

The Wizards get a player that has the potential to be the team's leading scorer, especially when paired with their new point guard Tyus Jones. They also got a few future draft picks from the Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Warriors cleared up a bunch of cap space getting rid of Poole's horrific contract. Plus, they added one of the best point guards of all time with Chris Paul.

Full details about the trade can be found on ESPN

In today's video, I will be talking about whether or not I think this was a good trade for both teams. The Wizards are obviously in a rebuilding stage. The Warriors on the other hand are determined to win another championship as Steph and Klay both continue to age out of their prime.

Comment below what you think about CP3 heading to the Warriors. Will he be the starting PG or the back-up guy coming off the bench? Do you see Poole averaging over 25 pts/gm? I think both players are in a much better place than they were before and will benefit from this trade. As for which team came out on top, that remains to be seen.

The essence of them rebuilding is to be successful. I just hope that it happens that way

It's a business and we all know things can change in the blink of an eye. They know what they're signing up for.

I wish there were more NBA fans on Hive. Hopefully eventually that'll happen.

That's a very interesting trade! I'm not sure what to think about it yet. On the one hand, it seems like a good move for the Warriors, as they get a proven point guard who can help them win now. On the other hand, it seems like a bad move for the Wizards, as they give up a young player with a lot of potential.

I'll be interested to see how this trade plays out. I think it could be a good move for both teams, but it's also possible that it could backfire.

Though Jordan Poole was horrible last season, I was hoping the Warriors will give him another season to prove himself. Trading such potential for a 38 year-old Chris Paul doesn't cut it for me.

I think the Warriors will be fine without him, but they do need to figure out their bigs. Paul wasn't the best swap for Poole, but they could have done worse. Poole has a chance to start fresh with the Wizards.

I hope the dude finally gets some sort of consistency with the Wizards. As for Warriors and their bigs, they obviously got bullied by AD against Lakers at the last PlayOffs. Let's see what they have in line for the next season. But they've always relied more on their incredible attacks and constant movement across the court to pin down opponents than their big guys.

Poole will either see a massive uptick in his performance or he will continue to be stagnant like he was last season. I think he's got plenty of game left in him for the Wiz.

I also think the Warriors are definitely still a team worth taking seriously.
