Así viví la Caracas Rock 2025, con los compañeros de Hive Run y mucha pero mucha gente.

Llegamos en buena hora para estar en los corrales a tiempo. La cantidad de gente era demasiada y llegar hasta el lugar de partida, llevaba tiempo.

Mucho colorido y esa camisa oficial, quedaba muy bien en las fotos, aunque no me gustó tanto como la del año pasado, esta es más vistosa.

En la partida nos vimos @abima04 @erilej @enmy y yo. También pudimos ver a algunos de @lpgrunners como @suenadal y Henry el fundador. Tambien nos topamos con @gabi.iaselli un poco antes.

La salida fue brutal, la música muy motivante y te ponía eléctrico con tanta gente, te daba muchas ganas de correr a toda velocidad, pero los primeros kilómetros hay que dosificar. Eso hice en el primero que es subida, después viene una bajada corta que aproveché y volvemos a una subida. Hay que administrar muy bien estos desniveles. Mi primer kilómetro fue lento y después fui incrementando velocidad.

Cuando Strava me decía el ritmo en cada kilómetro, me sorprendía, ya que en los entrenamientos no podía ir a ese ritmo y me sentía muy fuera de forma. Pues resulta que no lo estoy tanto. Por lo menos para los 10K, estoy bien. Hice 54 minutos, solo un minuto por encima de mi promedio. Aunque alguna vez llegué a hacer 49.

Al final lo disfruté bastante como todas las Caracas Rock. Aunque esta vez, llegó un punto del concierto que ya me quería ir. Fue casi al final. No conocía al cantante, pero sí había escuchado todas sus canciones y me parece que lo hace muy bien, aunque no es mi estilo de música, lo pude disfruta. Pero llega un momento después de varias canciones que me satura, aunque pienso que el calor influyó bastante. La humedad y el sol fue demasiado fuerte.

That's how I experienced Caracas Rock 2025, with my friends from Hive Run and lots and lots of people.

We arrived early so we could get to the corrals on time. There were so many people that it took a while to get to the starting line.

There was lots of color, and the official shirt looked great in photos, although I didn't like it as much as last year's. This one is more eye-catching.

At the start, we saw @abima04, @erilej, @enmy, and me. We also saw some of the @lpgrunners, such as @suenadal and Henry, the founder. We also ran into @gabi.iaselli a little earlier.

The start was brutal, the music was very motivating and it made you feel electric with so many people around, it made you want to run at full speed, but you have to pace yourself for the first few kilometers. That's what I did on the first one, which is uphill, then there's a short downhill that I took advantage of, and then we go back to an uphill. You have to manage these slopes very well. My first kilometer was slow and then I picked up speed.

When Strava told me my pace for each kilometer, I was surprised, because in training I couldn't keep up that pace and I felt very out of shape. Well, it turns out I'm not that out of shape. At least for the 10K, I'm fine. I did it in 54 minutes, just one minute above my average. Although I once did it in 49.

In the end, I enjoyed it a lot, like all Caracas Rock concerts. Although this time, there was a point in the concert when I wanted to leave. It was almost at the end. I didn't know the singer, but I had heard all his songs and I think he's very good. Although it's not my style of music, I enjoyed it. But after several songs, I got overwhelmed, although I think the heat had a lot to do with it. The humidity and sun were too strong.
