Último Entrenamiento antes del Maratón CAF 2024 [ENG-ESP]

Hoy fue el último entrenamiento para el Maratón CAF 2024. Quedan pocos días y los nervios y emoción se hacen sentir. Nos acercamos al día de retiro de material, donde nos darán la camisa oficial. Además ese día nos tomaremos nuestra respectiva foto como el equipo que representa a Hive en el Maratón más importante de Venezuela durante muchos años y uno de los más importantes a nivel del continente.

Estaremos corriendo: @enmy y @vandres, los 21K y @erilej y @danielvehe los 42K.

Hoy corrí 5K en subida. Quería correr más esta semana. Pensaba correr 10k el lunes, pero he tenido problemas con la electricidad y también el internet; por lo que me ha desordenado mi horario, además ocuparme por mucho tiempo en buscar para cargar el teléfono y esperar que me reparen el internet.

Siento que los últimos días aflojé mucho el ritmo, sin embargo me siento mucho mejor preparado que el año pasado. Además no creo que lo haga peor que en 2023, ya que eso significaría que me eliminen.

Ahora toca descansar, física y mentalmente. Esta semana no he querido programar reuniones ni visitas a medios, para concentrarme en la CAF. Quiero tener la mente liberada. Sin embargo el tema de la electricidad que se fue en mi zona, por la explosión de unos transformadores, por más de 24 horas; me ocupó un poco los pensamientos.

I feel that the last few days I have slowed down a lot, but I feel much better prepared than last year. Besides, I don't think I'll do any worse than in 2023, as that would mean I'd be eliminated.

Now it's time to rest, physically and mentally. This week I have not wanted to schedule meetings or media visits, to concentrate on the CAF. I want to keep my mind free. However, the issue of the electricity that went out in my area, due to the explosion of some transformers, for more than 24 hours, occupied my thoughts a little.

También les cuento que estoy feliz por haber ganado el rol de Tortuga. Es el primero que se otorga a los runners de una lista que creamos. Ya estamos listos, solo queda relajarse para la carrera. Vienen varios runners desde el interior del país para animarnos; eso también me motiva mucho. Somos un gran equipo y el domingo corremos con Hive...
