@dannewton just finished a 5.04km run, that lasted for 31 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 425.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
Er... yep, exactly what the title says

I meant to go for a run yesterday... and I almost tried to make the most of being at home to to go for the run in the morning before work started, but I guess I was too comfortable in bed. I then aimed to go for a run afterwork, but I was tired and lazy and full of excuses.

So today being Tuesday... I tried again. I was in the office today, so the early mornong run was out of the question, but I would have time in the evening if I was able to force myself outside.

I finished work on time and walked down to the bus station to catch the bis home, and as I had already been active after being sat down all day, I guessed that helped to motivate me to get outside this evening for an easy jog up the bypass and back

And so the easy bypass run that would usually start my week on a monday was done today.

Better late than never I guess!

Tomorrow I'm at home, so will try again for an early morning session. I know I'll be ok once I've got out side and moving, but its that first step/roll out of bed thats the hardest!.

Recently I've been doing a lot of late finishes due to the extra workload at this time of year, so I've built up a lot of 'extra time' which I need to give back. I'd rather get paid the overtime to be honest, but instead it does mean a chance for earlier finishes (or even a longer lunchbreak) so that is something to look forward too. In fact if I take a long lunch (of 1 hour) tomorrow, then maybe I can go for a short run 30 minute run during it?

That means I get to stay in bed in the morning!

Oh and I also have my next physio session tomorrow evening, so that is something to look forward too. It will be interesting to see if my body is doing ok due to the 'brief' execration of the race last weekend

And then I'm also looking forward to havein a 4 day weekend due to the Easter Holidays. No idea what I'm doing yet, but I will be out running at some point during it

Right so if I'm gonna attempt an early run tomorrow, then I really need to give myself a chance at success, by going to bed at a reasonable time, so on that note, goodnight!

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)

It's just like that, it's important for all of us to complete our daily walk before going to bed. If we fall asleep, we can't do it again after getting up.
