@dannewton just finished a 11.66km run, that lasted for 69 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 903.0 calories.

Description from Strava: Time for the 2nd run of the weekend. The weather is better today, with some blue skies this morning. Still on the chilly side, hence me wearing a longsleeve base layer underneath my t-shirt. I did take gloves, but didnt need to put them on in the end.

Todays route was a nice little loop via Branston. The backroads in Branston are linked to a local farm, so they were quite muddy at times, but the main road coming out the other side were ok.

I ran by feel on todays session (ie ignoring my watch for most of it) and i was trying to keep it easy... and it mostly was easy other than dodging muddy puddles!

The 11.5km session rounds out quite a busy week, in which I managed to reach my weekly distance goal of 60km

The last few weeks have been either 60km, or just under it, and marks a period where I've managed to keep consistent with training, which is really good to report. With this running lark, it really is true that consistency is key, and by showing up and getting it done week in, week out, I will start to see improvements.

You can also see I've changed my yearly distance goal. I had started the year hoping for 3000km, but with injuries, niggles and other distractions... that has fallen by the wayside. I've reset it to aim for 2000km for the year, and I'm not sure I'll manage it, but I'll give it a good go at least!

Now, sadly, my holiday comes to an end. The rest of this afternoon will be spent sorting stuff out so I'm ready to head back into the office tomorrow morning...

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
