@dannewton just finished a 6.7km run, that lasted for 40 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 564.0 calories.

Description from Strava: Title says it all, I've just had 9 glorious work-free days, and I can confirm that the first day back was a struggle, especially the alarm call at 6:00!

Back into the routine I go, with a rather wet walk into work:

An easy effort running home in the dark after work (rain had stopped at least!):

And then a quick spot of stretching after the run:

This time last week I was enjoying my adventure up in the Peak District, and while today was a return to normal, I can at least say that everything feels good and that there are no obvious niggles or signs of tiredness.

Time for some tea, and then its time to crack on with the home learning for my next AAT Accountancy exam

Great job getting back into routine, I know it can be hard after a break, but finishing that 6.7km run must have felt amazing and really helped lift your mood.

Back to the grind but still keeping active! nothing like a break to keep you motivated. Good luck with studies, when is your exam?

The grind sucks, but it pays for fun stuff, so I guess I don't have an option haha

Thank you, my next exam has been booked for the middle of January, gives me 6 weeks to learn/revise, and the deadline keeps me motivated to keep going (otherwise I'll just make excuses lol)

Yeah hey. Part of being an adult! We got bills to pay and lifestyles to fund lol.

6 weeks is ample time! And sounds like you got a dedicated schedule. Here's to everything going according to plan!

Going back to work is always a wrench. The weather is really random lately, so you take your chances. I had a really wet run yesterday, but it was okay. Hope you get some good conditions.
