Description from Strava: Wednesday 26th November:

After a streak of running sessions (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues), it is time to take a much deserved rest day today.

taking appropriate rest is just as important as training hard by the way!

This meant getting the bus into work this morning, and getting the bus home. But just because I'm taking it easy doesn't I can't spend all day sitting down... so after I finished in the office, I went for a walk down into town. It was a pleasant enough stroll down the hill, and I made the most of being in town to make a start on Christmas Shopping...

Well, cards is a start lol!

I've already got boxes of cards left over from previous years, but I did need to pick some more interesting ones for close family, up above is a card for my niece, my brother and is wife, and for the dog

the dog is an important member of the family too!

While in the card shop, I picked up a small cuddly toy for my niece...

...so I guess my Christmas shopping is finally underway. Considering it is the end of November, and with December right around the corner, I'm really late and disorganized this year

Thursday 27th November:

After taking it easy on Wednesday, it was time to get back on it on Thursday. It was 12km, and was an easier effort than my Tuesday Hill Reps session.

The route meandered through the center of town, took a brief detour down by Boultham Park, before heading up Cross O'cliff Hill towards home. I was wearing shorts and a long-sleeve top, and it was a little warm for that lol. After 3 cold and frosty days, the weather has suddenly changed to a very mild 12C. It felt surprisingly warm when I walked into work this morning too!

wish it would make its mind up!

For this evening, I have some more of my course to do, and then I'll be starting to do some of my Christmas Shopping. Or at least, I'll start making lists of what I want to buy people, and then I can do some shopping this weekend

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
