@dannewton just finished a 7.4km run, that lasted for 47 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 609.0 calories.

Description from Strava: Its Friday evening, and I've just run home. I should be excited 'cause the weekend is here!

Except... as of last night I've started coming down with a cold. I felt cold, had a sore throat, and my nose had started running. It's been a super busy week with not a lot of sleep, so I was hoping it was just signs of being run down, and that a goods night sleep would help.

I went to bed early, and slept for long enough, but when I woke up this morning, I still felt rubbish. And as the day wore on, it became apparent that i am coming down with something.

to be fair, there is plenty going round at the moment, and I'm surprised that it's taken me this long to catch something.

Slightly frustrating has I have a lot of stuff to get done this weekend, xmas shopping, food shopping, cleaning and tidying, and maybe starting to put xmas decs up. Instead, I'm gonna take it as easy as I can this evening, and have an early night, and then see what (if anything) I feel like doing tomorrow.

As much as I need to get stuff done, I need to priortise myself first, and so the sooner I get better, the sooner I can get back too it.

So on that note, I've just finished tea, I've had a shower, and now I curled up on the sofa watching a film (The Mummy if you are curious!), and then it will be early to bed, and see what tomorrow brings*

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)

Always a good choice to have getting better first as the main priority when you start to feel a bit sick, that usually prevents it from getting a lot worse. I hope you get well at 100% soon again.

Thank you for the well wishes. Whatever was on the way yesterday has hit me like a ton of bricks today, have spent the day on the couch watching films and feeling sorry for myself, but hopefully tomorrow will be better

(just frustrating to lose the weekend!)

Hopelfully it's something that hits hard but goes away quickly, I had that happen to my last month.
