Description from Strava:

Another busy and productive day in the office, and I spent most of it tying up loose ends and little jobs, in preparation for breaking up for Christmas.

It has fallen quite well this year, Christmas Day and Boxing Day are Bank Holidays, and this year it means I get Thursday and Friday off, before we go straight into the weekend - a 4 day weekend, woohoo!

Other than the Bank Holidays though, I've not booked any extra time off as 4 days at home is quite enough thank you! This means that I'll be the only person in on all the days we are open, and the rest of my team will take it in turns to have some days off. Suits me anyway, as I'd rather take annual leave during the warmer months where I can actually enjoy it.

Anyway, after a useful day in the office, it was time to run home. The schedule asked for a longer run of 12 - 15km, and frankly I couldn't be bothered, so instead I just run the shortest, quickest route I could. I am relived to say that the weather has finally turned and most of the rain has disappeared. Instead it has turned cold, dry and rather windy. I doubt we'll get any snow though as it is too early in the season for that... not likely we'll get a White Christmas this year.

Speaking off which, it's not long 'til the big day. Just one more day to go!
