Description from Strava: Well, it's not quite the usual 'long run' of the weekend at 8km,

it's a Bank Holiday weekend, so will head out for a longer effort tomorrow

...but I needed to get something done just to keep things ticking over.

Question - when should I go for a run?

A - Saturday morning, chilly but sunny and blue skies
B - Saturday afternoon, sunny and much warmer
C - Sunday morning, muggy but dry
D - Sunday afternoon, muggy and wet

Yep, option D of course!

It's my fault for not being orgainsed lol, but by the time I was ready to head outside, the clouds were looking decidedly overcast, and 5 minutes into the run light drizzle started, and then got progressively worse.

But its fine, a little rain never hurt anyone... and it was an easy enough effort out along the bypass and back. It was also a rare run where I didn't have a backpack carrying work stuff, so that made a change.

I aimed for a 8km out and back session, purely so I could hit my weekly target for the week of 50km (which I managed with a total of 50.53km)

Now time to dry off, and finish some household chores, and then tomorrow I can go for a nice long run in the sun
