dannewton just finished a 5.6km run, that lasted for 37 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 585.9 calories.

Description from Strava: Time for the standard weekend 'long run'. I know that 5.5km may not seem that long to some of you, but it's pretty much the furthest I've run in a while.

I mentioned a couple of posts ago that I'm trying to keep my routes varied this time. Last year I'm seemed to stick to mostly the same routes and I suspect that doing the same boring sessions over and over is one reason why I didn't train regularly.

Today's route was a lap around the village, and it was relatively easy... it was warm out there, 24C and humid too, which means I'm now unpleasantly sticky. The humid conditions will be great for moth trapping tonight though, but before that I'm gonna need a flippin shower!

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
