I know many of you might not like him, due to his style of play or you feel he hasn’t archived enough or I don’t know whatever your reason maybe, I’m not going to convince you to accept the fact that he is truly a special one because this is not a debate. Just keep reading as I give you fact that Mourinho is one of the best coaches if not the number one best coach in Europe.

Mourinho becomes the first coach in history to win the Europa conference league and he did it with that Roma team which couldn’t even qualify to play in the Europa league When it comes to winning in the final, I don’t think any coach as a better record than Mourinho and this is not just some fact I came up with, for a coach to have won all final he reached in any European league then he just proved that he is the man for winning trophy.

It’s been 60 years since Roma won any European title, which the one they won last was called the Fairs cup in 1961, it’s also been 14 years since they won a major trophy, all this history was rewritten today all thanks to Zaniolo strike in the 32nd minutes which this also made him the first Italian to score in any European league final since Filipo Inzaghi did in 2007. That’s not all, he also became the youngest Italian to score in a major European final since Del Piero in 1997 against Borussia Dortmund.

The mistake Feyenoord did was letting Roma get the first goal which we all know that once Mourinho gets the first goal no matter how early the goal was scored the opponent is finished. It was just one goal scored in the 90minutes of play which was what Mourinho needed, the Dutch team didn’t get a chance to test Roma keeper, though they had the most shot on target, they also had the most ball possession at the end of the game but all these couldn’t give them the cup. Feyenoord will have become the first Dutch team to win a European trophy since 2002 but that would have happened if they didn’t play the special one who is also known as the final specialist.

Honestly speaking Mourinho deserves a statue in Italy because of the great work he has done for the club he has managed, the coach who was sacked from his former club is now a coach who is celebrated all over Italy right now. He has been the only coach to bring back European glory to Italy he did it first with Inter Milan in 2009/2010 which was their third European title but the first they won since 1965 and also their first final in 1972. Since he left Inter Milan no Italian team has won any European competition the closest they have gotten to is being a runner-up and now he is back and he did it again.

There was a fight in Albania where the final was played and dozens were deported back to their country. 19 officers were injured with 5 Albanian civilians, we also saw flares thrown on the field before the match began.
