The Weekend is here at Last!
Finally, the weekend is here! You wanna know why I'm so excited about the weekend? At least among many relaxing things which I will do over the weekend one stands out and that is to watch amazing, entertaining game of football.
Over the last two weeks the world of football has been less exciting for me because it was the international breaks. And this international break was used to execute a phase of the world cup qualifiers. But I generally don't like international breaks/football as it doesn't have this vibe and glamour that club football brings.
All over the globe this weekend exciting, sensational, intriguing and entertaining football matches will be played in major leagues such as in the EPL (English Premier League) La Liga, Bundesliga,French Ligue 1, Seria A, etc.
Matches I would definitely be on the look out for are:
The EPL games to look out for
- Watford vs Liverpool
- Aston Villa vs Wolves
- Leicester city vs Man Utd
- Man city vs Burnley
- Norwich city vs Brighton
- Southampton vs Leeds United
- Brentford vs Chelsea FC
- Everton vs West Ham United
- Newcastle United vs Spurs
- Arsenal FC vs Crystal Palace
My prediction for the EPL games (Based on my sentiments 😁):
- Watford 0 vs 3 Liverpool
- Aston Villa 2 vs 1 Wolves
- Leicester city 2 vs 2 Man Utd
- Man city 2 vs 0 Burnley
- Norwich city 1 vs 3 Brighton
- Southampton 1 vs 1 Leeds United
- Brentford 1 vs 3 Chelsea FC
- Everton 1 vs 1 West Ham United
- Newcastle United 2 vs 1 Spurs
- Arsenal FC 3 vs 0 Crystal Palace
In the Seria A we have some interesting games like:
- Lazio vs Inter Milan
- Juventus FC vs Roma
- Napoli vs Torino
In the Bundesliga we have interesting games to look out for such as:
- Borussia Dortmund vs Mainz
- Bayern Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich
In Ligue 1, we have these games to look forward to though the first game on the list was played yesterday and it was a tight game.
- PSG 2 vs 1 Angers
- Lyon vs Monaco
This weekend is going to be epic. And for the fans of fantasy football, all the best. Hope your teams accrue more points than previous. As always Mohammed Salah remains my captain for the week and at the point of writing this post he has already made an assist for Saido Mane.

I love the weekends mostly because of football. I'm a Manchester united fan, even though i don't like the prediction you made, i can still agree to it, the matchup would be a tricky one. I want Man U to win though.

What really prompt my decision for the Man Utd game was the fact that your two reliable centre backs are out with injury concerns. And this might not go well for your defensive set up. And Leicester city is a side that will fancy the chance of hitting Man Utd on the counter to test your new defensive set up. But CR7 is definitely up to the task after an impressive performance over the international break.

I used to play a lot of FIFA during the weekends with my boyfriend, such a familiar weekend activity!
Sounds fun 😁 having someone to play the FIFA game with and taunt and make fun of when you win. So far, the weekend has not disappointed in anyway.

Manchester united lost woefully 😭
I'm sorry for that. Well whenever a team I love looses a match I switch to a neutral mood and try as much as possible to be objective and analyse the match.
From all indications it was Ole's decisions that caused Man Utd the game. Though it was an away match but at worst pick a point as I predicted. With the injury worries at the back I was expecting a Lindelof partnership with their African defender but instead he risked Maguire who caused errors leading to goals and his strategy for the game was poor basically.
It happens bro, we loose some we win some. I just hope Man Utd bounce back fast from this defeat because of the 5-6 games ahead are quite dicey.

I think we might just be friends after all. Though I enjoy watching a good game of football generally and try to stay neutral most a times but Chelsea had always had a way of playing that doesn't seat right with me but since tuchel took over I'm beginning to appreciate their style of play.

The weekend hasn't disappointed at all especially the Leicester city and Man Utd game it really was good match to watch regardless of who won the match.
