My Actifit Report Card: June 6 2022

Just the one job catering today. A WestJet longhaul flight. My colleague and I loaded the whole consignment onto our truck (normally two trucks are used for this but it can be easily loaded onto one truck with room to spare).
It is just a bit quicker with two trucks because we have to access three aircraft doors. Pushing catering carts through the aircraft is not permitted. It just takes a bit longer for one truck and team to negotiate all three doors and any other ramp equipment and personnel that are attending the flight, such as baggage onloading/offloading.

Just as a matter of interest, I took this picture of the rubbish bags from the flight. This is typically the amount of garbage that a long haul flight generates.

Turning around one of these large aircraft in a couple of hours is a huge undertaking especially when understaffed!
