My Actifit Report Card: July 11 2022
My penultimate work day and it was hot out there on the airport. So I decided that as I was finishing early today, I could rest for the afternoon and then enjoy the cooler conditions for a bike ride.
So off I went at about 6pm. A ride around Tilgate Park this time. Not too far as I'm starting work tomorrow at 0500 hrs!
The route was single track for most of the way and narrow too. I enjoy a varied ride and this fits the bill!
Everywhere is baked dry now so the going is very bumpy, this makes sitting on the seat difficult so most of the time I'm standing on the pedals.
Into the ferns! The track was passable but quite overgrown by bracken.
I finally ended the ride at the main lake after descending a sandy track which was the only part of the ride that allowed me to sit down!
