My Actifit Report Card: August 3 2022

I arrived at work today ready for an early start and was immediately stood down for a couple of hours! My colleague and I got started later with our assignment which was three flights. We decided to take all at once as two of the aircraft were already on the ground. This allowed plenty of time to cater them before waiting for the inbound flight.

A chance to go for a coffee while waiting too. ☕

There wasn't much to do after lunch so I helped out other drivers with their truck loading. When eventually all that was done I sat in my car and read my book until home time! 📖

It seems you've got a lot of "empty" time between assignments... Do you feel this could be optimised? Or do you feel it's just like this and it should be like this as well? !LUV

It's the nature of my role. Flight schedules are very volatile at the best of times, especially right now where the industry is trying to catch up with demand! My employer needs to have enough staff available for unforseen circumstances so that means some staff on standby.

Funny enough I had a very busy day today, no time for sitting around at all. I even missed lunch! Which I'll explain in my @actifit post later. 😁 !wine

Will have a read :-) No time for !PIZZA yesterday, than?... I nderstand that it's necessary but having staff "standby" feels like loosing money for me...
Thanks for the wine. I found some North Macedonian Wine here in the shop in Bulgaria by the way. Want to try it, but we seem to be out ALL the time...
