Our water bill has been high for a while, so I checked the water meter after shutting off the water stop cock. As I suspected the meter was still showing a flow! So we called the water supplier who sent someone to check. Sure enough, he confirmed your fears but the leak is most probably on our side of the meter, meaning our landlord is responsible. All this and we are due to move home on 1st September! He he. We should get a refund though which will be welcome.

All this happened while I was at work. We have our work out now to get ready to move home. Another trip to the local amenity tip soon. 😆
