A nice example of a bright rainbow which we see quite often at this time of year. I think because the sun is always quite low in the sky and produces a vivid display if there are heavy showers around.

I am looking forward to the new year which will come quickly now. It is good to start a new year with all the nice weather to come. We have to allow for some bad weather too of course! In this part of the world where we are in the firing line of the jet stream.
