The Duck Army!....My Actifit Report Card: April 22 2024

Apparently, there is a duck army movement at Ifield Mill Pond. 😄 We spotted this on the jetty footway, which crosses the whole lake.

It was a lovely walk in warmer weather, but it was chilly today, and the wild birds seemed to agree. Not many people or birds around. There were some Canada geese nesting on the islands and one pair of swans as well.

We also walked around Bewbush Water Gardens, which is just across the road from the mill Pond. That's where most of the geese and swans are nesting this year. There are numerous islands, perfect safety for the birds.

It was a nice evening walk where the grandchildren like to go too. We will bring them for a picnic another day when it is a bit warmer. 😀
