While out walking, I noticed this large dead tree trunk. It must have been a magnificent tree! Im not sure which species it was but must be very old.

It is a good example of nature at the end of life when all around us are the signs of glorious spring! 😁 New life emerging from the dark again after a short sleep.

I hope this summer is good but here in England you can never bank on it! 😐
