Curious Flowers : My Actifit Report Card: June 13 2025
This plant is a curious one for me as I have found it on a few occasions around my hometown. It is known as Hypericum androsaemum, and I have only ever noticed it with berries in autumn. The berries are black, which makes it look quite striking against the dark foliage. This plant grows in heavily shaded areas. I have spotted this plant in a few places on my travels. I was pleased to find it today with its flowers on display. Next to the lake at Worth Park.

I dont think its edible. The berries are black when ripe but I am not about to try them! 🤢

Yeah, better know for sure if you can eat them or not. I'm the same with mushrooms when I see some in the woods. I have to learn which are edible one day.
