Too Hot to Handle : My Actifit Report Card: July 10 2025

I was planning to set out on a mountain bike ride much earlier, but it didn't work out that way. But later is better than not at all, so off I went.

Passing some familiar landmarks, including a totem, which is apparently in memory of someone called Robin.

It was getting very hot, so I took regular refreshment stops. Under the trees was much cooler than out in the open spaces, so I tried to keep to woodland areas today.

The problem with the woods is that there can be obstacles like fallen trees. 😆

I passed some nice lakes, like this one in Broadfield Park. Can you spot the turtle?

It was at this point that I decided to cut short the ride as it was getting just too hot! I took the direct route to Tilgate Lake for my last stop before heading back home for a much needed shower!

On my way back via Goffs Park I noticed that a circus had moved into the park! I can't remember the last time I saw a circus in real life! Amazing!

I spotted the turtle by the log 😆
Now I wonder, how hot is it there right now? 😁 I'm going to guess it's close to my weather too (my room temp at 34C again today). That circus looks fascinating.
