A busy sunday. That seems to be a regular thing these days with a large family, with so many people to see and keep happy! 😱
The sunshine was welcome, albeit short and sweet as there is acweek of rain coming from tomorrow. But itvwill be much milder so that is welcome indeed.

Could be that we are a bit of train buffs here. Back in the 90's, we actually had a retail model train store. We were enraptured with the Colorado and Southern Narrow Gauge railroad, and we would actually 'chase' live steam trains when they were in the area we lived in at the time. I had friends who belonged to the 'Cinder Sniffer's' live steam club. That club ran scaled down live steam engines, but big enough to ride and haul passengers. They made my day when one of the guys made me an honorary Cinder Sniffer, and let me run his boiler steam engine AND haul a trainload of passengers! It was awesome! To this day, I also love the smell of coal burning!
Anyway, we did move to Colorado and actually spent a lot of time on the Alpine Tunnel railroad bed. We still have a lot of model trains we kept, but for now, have no setup running. Someday, I'm sure we will set it all back up and I'll done my engineer's hat........
Wow! I can understand the interest now in my picture of a railway! 😂
It's the kind of thing that gets embedded in your memories for ever!
