The evening meal! After another busy day of home chores, family visits, school runs, and then a horrible 1 hour car drive in the rain and dark! 😱.
But thats where the best bit comes. We found a nice place to stop to get and evening meal before the next stage of the journey. We ended up staying there for the night! 🤣.
As you can see the meal was lovely. Followed up by the desert.
Vanilla ice-cream with a shot of espresso and Cointreau. That was fabulous!
Just the job after a very demanding day. 😊

After a long dark drive in the rain, finding a place like that is such a blessing! I'm glad that you had a satisfying meal and dessert, my friend. While I've never tried the combo of ice cream and espresso, I'm pretty sure that they'd go fabulously well together. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
The burst of coffee flavour was intense over the top of a creamy texture. The orange 🍊 flavours of the Cointreau added another interesting contrast. As the ice cream melted away, I ended up just drinking the last bit, fantastic!
