My Actifit Report Card: February 22 2026
These beautiful purple crocuses are everywhere now. I spotted some wild primroses while driving today on a grass verge cose to the town centre. They are lovely to see in their natural habitat in the countryside. I will look out for them on my next mountain bike ride which I am well overdue for.
Things like the awful weather and other daily routines have got in the way of goibg out on my bike this winter. I sure am gling to make up for it as soon as the ground dries up a bit.

Beautiful crocuses and my favorite color to boot!
The weather does play a key role for sure in how much I like to get out to hike, which this winter-not so much! My husband goes out in the rain and cold, but I just can't bring myself to go and get frozen and wet! I'll do the bike indoors!
Warmer (but not too hot) weather will be most welcome, along with the sky faucet being shut off for a little while! Hopefully soon!

I feel the same — I keep postponing my bike rides too. Sometimes it’s the weather, sometimes my knee reminding me that it’s not twenty anymore. But I’ve made a firm decision to become more active again this year.
And those crocuses really are a beautiful sign that the season is changing. They seem fragile at first glance, but they’re surprisingly resilient — maybe a good reminder for us to get moving again.

Thanks for your reply, but yes, it's not just the weather that gets in the way of a ride. That's life I suppose. These are just challenges to be overcome.
